Russian-italian mezzo-soprano Olesya Chuprinova was born in Kazakhstan and is now based in Italy.
Graduated in chemical engineering at the Technical University of Yekaterinburg (Russia). She began her musical studies at the Art School (piano, singing), after she moved to Moscow to study in "Russian Academy of Theater Arts" (faculty of musical theatre).
The recipient of several awards: "Festival of Russian culture"(Russia), "International Competition for Opera Singers" (Poland), "III International Adam Didur Opera Singers Competition"(Poland), "III International Opera Competition "R. Leoncavallo" (Italy), "International Award for Culture" (Italy) and other.
Olesya Chuprinova has participated in various international projects and festivals: "Festival Verdi" (Parma, Italy), "Belcanto Opera Festival di Rossini" (Wildbad, Germany), "Opera Festival" (Tenerife, Spain), "Festival Monteverdi" (Cremona, Italy ), "Rossini Opera Festival" (Pesaro, Italy), "Hanna El-Amil and Beirut Chants Festival" (Beirut, Lebanon), "Opera Festival "En ItalieTuscania" (Sainte-Chapelle, France), "Rocco Opera Festival" (Ferrara, Italy) etc.
She has appeared in the prodactions with famous conductors Donato Renzetti, Riccardo Frizza, Antonino Fogliani, Francesco Ivan Ciampa, Antonio Greco, Matteo Beltrami, Federico Ferri, Matteo Pagliari, Michele Spotti, Krzyztof Dziewiecki, Marcello Mottadelli, Andrea Solinas, Tufik Maatouk, Denis Vlasenko and with staging directors sach as Pier Francesco Maestrini, Georgy Ansimov, Fabio Sparvoli, Jacopo Spirei, Aldo Tarabella, Silvia Paoli, Marco Spada, Roberto Catalano, Jochen Schoenleber, Danilo Rubeca.
